Job Description :
TRN has an immediate need for a TFS developer in MD.
State GOvernment experience preferred.
DUTIES:
Development, Implementations and Administration
Responsible for installation and administration of TFS implementation
Work with the IT and Business teams to design and develop solutions to address business needs and opportunities including workflows and custom forms.
Perform typical system administrative activities such as creation, user training, and issue resolution.
Develop, configure, test, train and maintain repositories, versioning etc.
Create, leverage and manage content types, and templates for re-use on the sites
Training and Support
Encourage user adoption and demo TFS projects to various user groups.
Be the first line of support for users.
Train technical users on functionality.
Assist with error identification, investigation and resolution – escalate to IT as required. Identify training gaps and escalate to Enterprise Governance Team.
Cross train the IT Helpdesk to troubleshoot TFS issues.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business or other related field.
10 years’ experience as an IT Planner
6 years’ experience in planning, designing, building and implementing IT projects
1+ years’ experience configuring and developing with TFS
4+ years’ experience in Microsoft SharePoint Foundation and/or Server.
1+ years’ experience building workflows for SharePoint (experience with SharePoint 2013 preferred
Experience administering, supporting and designing Microsoft TFS solutions.
Experience delivering training to Microsoft TFS technical users.
HTML experience highly preferred.
Experience with SQL Server, SSRS, Infopath a plus.
Experience administering and supporting applications in a Windows OS desktop environment.
Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to identify problems, research and analyze issues from multiple perspectives, reach sound conclusions, and effectively communicate recommendations to management and end user.
Must have a high level of interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully collaborate with team members and extremely patient with end users.
