Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields (Computer Science, Engineering)
Any Certification in Java/J2EE is a plus
Work Experience Requirements:
6+ years of experience in Websphere Commerce
Experience working using Agile methodology and in fast paced environment
At least 4 years’ experience developing Websphere Commerce solutions in B2C or B2B
Strong knowledge of WebSphere Commerce v7.x application development, preferable Feature Pack 8 or up.
Strong knowledge of web application development using enterprise Java technologies and frameworks.
Strong familiarity with presentation layer technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON and Dojo is preferred.
Strong familiarity with web service technologies including SOAP, REST, WSDL and Axis is preferred.
Strong familiarity with the Struts framework is preferred.
Strong knowledge of specific Java technologies including JSP, JSTL, JDBC and JAXB is preferred.
Strong database development with SQL, solid understanding of relational database technologies preferably with DB2, and data modeling
Experience in implementation, customization, and integration of IBM WebSphere Commerce sites
Ability to rapidly learn new languages, tools, and techniques as needed to meet project requirements.
Experience in BOD framework customization
Experience in SOLR customization.
Experience in data modeling and using Dataload utility for loading Data in WebSphere Commerce
Experience in customizing CMC
Strong familiarity writing unit tests with JUnit is preferred.
Strong familiarity using GIT for source code management is preferred.
Strong knowledge of profiling techniques, memory management and performance tuning is preferred.
Strong knowledge in building WebSphere Commerce applications using WCBD is preferred.
Strong knowledge of website analytics using Coremetrics or Omniture is preferred.
Strong knowledge of Rational Application Developer is preferred.
Ability to work independently, work in a fast-paced environment, and manage workload prioritization with in the team to deliver high quality work products on time with minimal direction.
Ability to create business requirements documentation as needed
Ability to convert business requirements into detailed system design and technical specifications
