Education requirement: Bachelor degree in Computer Science
Years of Experience: 6-10 years in web application support
o Responsible for successful releases and deployments via manual and automated processes of websites, applications and services to production environments
o Manage tickets, triage, and provide troubleshooting expertise for all web applications and services to resolve issues quickly, either independently or with the help of technical team.
o Troubleshoot, analyze and resolve issues in all environments encompassing: .code in net, C#, ASP.net, SQL, HTML, web services, javascript, SSRS, application configurations, file/directory permissions
o Determine what is an ongoing issue we should add to an enhancement backlog and what is a bug that needs to be resolved immediately
o Ability to write scripts (SQL, C etc to fix problems quickly
o Facilitate partnerships cross-functionally with development, DBAs, Network, and System Admins to understand load balancing configurations, firewall, DNS and server routing from an application perspective
o Consult on overall production system and development architecture
o Provide guidance and support for a team who are on-call 24x7, for website and application up-time, order processing issues and off-time upgrades/ maintenance
o Educate junior team members on debugging applications to reduce turnaround time for production issues
o Monitor, present and analyze transactional vital statistics and application uptime/response time, and recommend environmental or operational changes
o Notify stakeholders of system status and provide resolution for environment/application related issues
o Enterprise level experience ideally focused on online products
o A strong technical background and understanding of various technologies and applications
o .NET, C#, ASP.net, SQL, SSRS, JavaScript, HTML, IIS, Web APIs, SOAP System Architecture, Firewall, DNS
o Handles high stress, and fast pace environment
o Strong communication skills
