A fast-growing Company in Fremont, CA is looking to fill a contract to hire position for experienced Senior Systems Engineer. The company helps organizations solve their identity management challenges through biometrics. Our enrollment and multi-factor authentication solutions are trusted to create, validate and manage identities for a wide range of government, law enforcement, financial institution, retail and commercial applications.
As Senior Systems Engineer, your contribution will have a direct impact on our customer experience and how we secure our customer’s identity and safeguard their account in the cloud.
The role will be involved from ideation to rollout, this includes requirement analysis, design and testing and production release.
Job Duties:
?Be proactive in providing outstanding design and deployment services
Lead interaction and collaboration with other teams such as Solutions and Support as needed to address escalated issues
Manage multiple concurrent deployment projects
Provide development and integration assistance
Contribute to team brain-storming sessions to review requirements and develop solid designs.
Participate in planning and delivering software solutions used across multiple products and organizational units
Use automated analysis tools to perform scalability and performance of product
Documentation on design, architecture, deployment strategies.
Data warehousing and system monitoring for public facing cloud services.
Plan and conduct technical tasks associated with the implementation and maintenance of enterprise virtualization infrastructure.
Configure and maintain the systems that comprise the underlying on-premise/cloud platform. Troubleshoot when problems arise and plan for future capacity requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
General knowledge of cloud architecture as well as on premise IT landscape
Knowledge on following authentication technology
o Traditional / Cloud (Federation) / Form Based/ Modern authentication
Very good understanding about NTLM / Kerberos / LDAP / SAML / Oauth / OpenID / SQL
Hands on experience with Microsoft Cloud application services including Azure AD, SQL Server Online, Azure Cloud Services (Load Balancer, Gateway Service, App Service, KeyVault etc…)
Well-versed in more than one of the following areas: Networking (HTTP, HTTPS, SSL, IIS, TCP, Radius, Firewall, proxy.etc, database, cryptography, scalability and performance.
Experience building PAAS infrastructure
Understanding of NAT, CIDR Blocks, PKI.
Working experience of VPN setup (specially site-2-site and Multi-Site), understanding of IPsec tunnel and BGP (Border Gateway Protocol)
Working experience with PowerShell/scripting, monitoring tools, clustering
Nice to have: Docker Deployment experience
Some knowledge and experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Security space preferred
Must have strong written and verbal skills in English
