Production DBA / SQL Server DBA
Portland OR
6-12 months contract
In-person interview is a MUST after phone interview
Qualifications:
5 years of experience in a Production DBA role
5 years experience with Database Administration for MSSQL Server
5 years experience in troubleshooting and resolving database problems
5 years experience in performance tuning and optimization, using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools
Experience with backups, restores and recovery models
Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for MSSQL Server
Experience in implementing operational automation using scrips
Knowledge of indexes, index management, and statistics
Experience working with Windows Server, including Active Directory and proper disk configurations
Ability to work effectively alone and in a team environment with quality and timely results.
