CCNA Certificate is must
Monitor and tune network and system performance
Monitor the operation of the network to ensure proper functioning of circuits, hardware and software.
Identify and resolve network problems utilizing structured troubleshooting methods, techniques and tools.
Respond to network production problems 24X7. Required to work in shifts
BA/BS in Computer Science or Information Systems Management, or an equivalent combination of education or experience
Certification in NERC/CIP and other applicable network technologies (e.g., CCNA)
Proficiency in networking concepts
Strong administration skills
Proficiency in analytical, project planning, negotiating, interpersonal, and communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong attention to detail in documenting problems and resolutions, keeping abreast of changes to processes, organization, infrastructure, and new or upgraded technologies to identify the impact on the computing environment and its customers
Roles & Responsibilities
i. Support internal and/or external Networks and assist in Maintaining all systems, Applications, security, and Network Configurations
ii. Maintain continuous operations for 24 X 7 network by working in 24x7 shift
iii. Support the research, analysis, Design, testing, and implementation of Networks systems
iv. Provide technical support to network Service Desk or customer operations, if requested
v. Assist with storm restoration efforts with respect to network circuits, network devices, and coordination of support teams to address issues
vi. Assist with Network studies, traffic analyses and the preparation of forecasts
Recommend modifications to the Network Configurations that reduce costs or improve service
