Overview:

Charter Global () is growing and we are seeking motivated and experienced Business Development Managers to join our information technology solutions organization. As a valued member of the Charter Global sales organization, you will have the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the growth goals of our firm. This exciting opportunity will focus on the acquisition of new client relationships and new business revenue for our IT consulting and staffing services within the assigned territories.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate a passion and effectiveness for building and expanding business relationships at all levels within current and prospective client organizations, the ability to develop targeted sales strategies that convey a customized approach to all business pursuits, and a consistent track record of meeting/exceeding revenue goals selling IT consulting services preferably in staff augmentation.

Position will report to SVP of Client Services and Strategy and will require occasional travel.

Responsibilities:

Meet or exceed sales revenue goals for acquiring new clients and attaining other sales-related objectives as defined by Charter Global.
Call on key contacts/decision makers at target companies to assess and qualify their need for services and develop/execute an account strategy for building relationships and driving new revenue.
Partner with Charter Global Delivery Managers and executive management to manage new client delivery process and expand revenue in the current client base.
Provide sales strategy, tactics and expertise throughout the sales cycle and during the proposal development process to close new business.
Provide the highest standard of professionalism and service excellence with current and prospective clients.
Maintain up-to-date client and sales process information within Salesforce.com.
Maintain a prospecting regimen consistently researching, identifying and engaging potential new account opportunities.
Negotiate and implement contractual relationships.

Qualifications:

Three or more years of successful solution-based or service-based sales experience in information technology. Technical recruiting candidates with client-facing experience and a strong desire/aptitude to transition into a technology services sales role will also be considered.
Experience in business-to-business relationship development at all levels within an organization, track record of growing a sales territory, experience establishing a network of contacts/prospects and managing the entire sales cycle is ideal.
Demonstrated performance in a commission or incentive-based compensation program.
Solid business and information technology market acumen in addition to strong communication skills including written verbal and presentation.
Ability to leverage Charter Global's competitive advantages to cultivate new business opportunities with prospective accounts.
Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, disciplined, creative, resilient, organized and goal-oriented.
Ability/willingness to craft effective proposals and presentations, work on RFPs, RFQs, etc
Bachelor's degree highly preferred.
