GRC Information Security Manager w/ ITIL

Rate: $70/hr on C2C or 1099 (W2 10% less) MAX

Location: REMOTE
TRAVEL: 60% TRAVEL MANDATORY FOR RESOURCES OPTING TO WORK ON REMOTE. (SANTA CLARA, CA)

ABOUT THIS ROLE
You will be a part of our Information Security practice, focused on projects related to governance, risk and compliance (GRC), audits and assessments, secure architecture and security operations (SecOps We''re currently looking for someone with security experience helping clients evaluate their current security posture, program and controls for managing secure operations in a hybrid environments with an increasing focus on cloud computing. RESPONSIBILITIES
* Perform lead architect role on both advisory and technical solution engagements for security operations, including security operations products engagements
* Provide consultation on security operations services integration within hybrid technology infrastructures with the goal of monitoring and providing remediation support
* Provide technical guidance on security operations products, and related products, integration with standard Security Operations Center (SOC) tools like Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM), logging services and related tools
* Provide consultation to support the design, integration and operational processes to enable clients as they align the various technology products that support security operations to their security, risk management and compliance framework
* Assist in preparations for and participate in ServiceNow Security Operations product marketing campaigns and road shows
* Advise clients on migration and enhance methodology to migrate standard/legacy SOC services into security operations models, products and workflows
* Maintain understanding of available security operations products and services at a feature level for competitive comparison, e.g., ServiceNow Security Operations, SecureWorks, ManageEngine, BMC BladeLogic, Microsoft Operations Management Suite, etc.
* Develop whitepapers, case studies, technical blue prints for security operations services
* Work with client partners to provide RFQs/RFPs for security operations opportunities
* Provide technical feedback to security operations partners to drive new features, enhancements and updates to security operations solutions
* Contribute to the growth of security operations technical resource pool by creating training materials, labs and knowledge base materials
* Contribute to pre-sales activities and delivery of security operations projects
* Engage with clients regularly, provide thought leadership and conduct workshops on industry trends relevant to client organization and their business objectives
* Cooperate and collaborate with peer teams and peer practices to present a comprehensive solution for the client and to maximize business opportunities and client outcomes
* Assist in the growth and development of the information security practice
* Provide technical contribution to sales and pre-sales efforts
* Contribute to the growth of intellectual capital for the company
* Support peer security practices as required

EXPERIENCE
* Work experience anywhere between 8-10 years in security operations center design and integration
* Good understanding of ITIL process
* Strong understanding of security operations deliverables, remediation and workflow management
* Strong working knowledge of SOC tools like SIEM, logging tools, and threat intelligence platforms
* Good experience in log correlations and forensic activities
* Strong working knowledge of and good experience integrating security analytics, scanning, logging, monitoring and other tools to develop security operations workflows, processes and documentation and support clients in SOC as a service engagements
* Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow Security Operations products, other ServiceNow components and ITSM workflows
* Good experience in integration of ServiceNow Security Operations products with variety of technology platforms
* Has successfully deployed three or more security operations solutions with ServiceNow products
* Expertise in creating SOC reports/executive dashboards to reflect industry security compliance control status (ISO 27001, HIPAA, FedRAMP, PCI-DSS, etc

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Superior client facing skills
* Strong business acumen
* Demonstrated ability to lead, grow and develop a team
* ITIL certified
* Computer Science degree or equivalent education qualification
* SOC trained and certified for SIEM tools such as HPE ArcSight, IBM Qradar, Intel Security, etc.
* Trained on threat intelligence platforms such as IBM X-Force, FireEye, RSA, etc.
* Good understanding of how to adhere to and achieve standards requirements, certifications, and regulatory audits and assessments, e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 1 and 2, FedRAMP, HIPAA, PCI DSS, ENISA, NIST-800-53 and others, through effective security operations
* ServiceNow SOLVE certified
* Provide overall leadership in the quality and execution of consulting engagements
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and good at developing relationships across diverse teams
