Role: Scrum Master
Ø Client is looking for a Scrum Master with proven technical skills, with a thorough understanding of the Agile development process.
Ø As a Scrum Master you will be a team facilitator and you will be responsible for bringing the team together to deliver on highly visible projects, transforming the employee intranet (w3) and mobile experience. We play a major role in delivering technology to the IBM intranet.Currently we are re-imagining several of the key tools that are used internally by IBMers on a daily basis.
Ø Our applications are written largely in Java, HTML5, CSS and JavaScript using state of the art engineering and development frameworks. In this fast pace and expanding organization, we foster an environment of continuous innovation and working in agile teams.
Expectations of skills and experience include the capabilities to: -
Drive the Technical team and the Product Owners in an Agile development process
Organise and facilitates Scrum practices such as standups, release and sprint planning, reviews, demos and retrospectives
Develop understanding of the overall software delivery lifecycle and activities
Assist in the adoption of Agile values, principles, methods, and practices
Enable close cooperation across all roles and functions in particular identifying and removing team blockers
Foster communication and productive relationships with project owners, team members and other stakeholders
Assist team members in the understanding of how to work in a self-management and cross-functional team structure.
Promote and participates in the continuous improvement of structure, processes, tooling to enable the teams to deliver more value
Identify opportunities for process and tool improvements and drive those from concept to implementation
Facilitate rapid iteration and creative problem solving
Communicate clear information to ensure project teams understand strategy, plans and requirements and addresses the need for clarity
Mitigate project risks and delivery related issues with oversight
