As a Embedded Cloud Engineer you will work closely with Development and Infrastructure teams to define/engineer/realize Infrastructure and Platform as a Service (IaaS/PaaS) Public Cloud solutions.
This is a senior technical role with the mission of providing direct engineering support to application development projects, architects, developers, infrastructure specialists, automation engineers, and decision makers, driving highly available, agile, scalable, cost effective solutions through the use of IaaS/PaaS Public Cloud (AWS
You will provide direct engineering/implementation support to assist agile DevOps teams toward the rapid adoption of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and DevOps Services. The Embedded Cloud Engineer collaborates with Development, Architecture and Infrastructure to support the definition/execution of projects, technical designs, operational processes, roadmaps and IT education initiatives. You will engage internal, vendor and SME counterparts to share best practices and help define best-in-class solutions.
As an Embedded Cloud Engineer you will possesses and maintain deep knowledge and experience with cloud computing
infrastructure, highly available-mission critical solution architectures, application development platforms, tools and techniques. You will challenge existing norms, and engage stakeholder teams with compelling ideas, designs, presentations, and discussions to speed the adoption of IaaS/PaaS Cloud.
Proven automation experience
DevOps skills and experience, Scripting, Automation/Self-Service, CI/CD, Chef, Jenkins, Maven.
Docker and Container based DevOps
Created and maintained a highly fault tolerant infrastructures/applications on AWS
Track record of designing and implementing enterprise applications
Strong knowledge of Java Technologies and Java Frameworks: Java/ J2EE
Strong knowledge of User Interface languages: HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery
Strong knowledge of Database and Database development tools: DB2, Oracle, SQL and SQL PL Stored Procedures
Experience working with automation tools, Cloud management tools
Knowledge of federated authentication and authorization models
