Title: Project Manager
Location: Chicago, IL- 60606
Duration: 7 months contract-to-hire

Description:
The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize projects of low to medium size and complexity, or components of large projects, according to strict deadlines, and a defined budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.
The Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives with management direction, and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle, using proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills in order to maximize the benefit of IT and Business investments.
The Project Manager has some project experience and performs his/her responsibilities while receiving minimal direction and supervision from his/her manager.

Tasks to be performed: Project management
Work with Stakeholders to define project scope, business case, requirement Write project charters Project effort and cost estimating.
Project scheduling, Project communication planning and execution Project control and monitoring.
Project financial management - cost +/- 5% of budget Project schedule management - 90% on time Project quality management Manage issues, risks and action items Project tracking Status reporting.

Skillset Details:
Experience and education in IT project management for medium to large size projects.
Ability to manage project from initiation through closure.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Communication skills. Ability to work with a diverse group of technical and non-technical personnel.
