Project Manager - SAP
Location: New Britain, CT (possible light travel)
Duration: 6 Month Contract
Qualifications:
8-10+ years of Project Management experience in Manufacturing industry including strong experience with SAP implementation or conversions.
Thorough understanding of SAP business processes, as well as a understanding of IT systems and the related infrastructure technology areas.
Experience executing all size and types of projects and multi-project programs
Advanced understanding of IT Project Management principles and techniques.
Experience leading cross-functional teams, creating an effective team environment, building strong relationships, solving problems and issues, resolving conflicts, managing resources in a matrix environment and communicating effectively at all levels of an organization.
Extensive experience in managing change and engaging team members.
Excellent facilitation skills, strong presentation skills and confidence presenting to, and working with, executives and leaders in other functions and business units
Strong oral and written communication skills, including ability to influence various levels within the organization necessary to achieve project goals.
Effective interpersonal skills, including managing resources in a matrix environment, ability to build strong relationships, and foster an effective team environment
Excellent time and task management skills with ability to provide direction and focus on deliverables
Proficient in MS-Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, and MS-Project
Highly energetic, motivated, and creative
Ability to drive initiatives cross-functionally and across multiple divisions
Highly process-oriented. Agile nice to have, but not required.
Bachelor’s degree preferred
PMP or PRINCE2 certification strongly preferred
