We have the below role with our direct end client in San Antonio TX for long term contract.

Its a SDET role with strong Ruby. Client will have 2-3 rounds of interview with live online code test done via video conference.
Responsibilities:
Writes and executes automated test scripts using a pre-defined framework
Designs and implements test frameworks and tools
Writes positive and negative smoke and regression test scripts to test product functionality and integration with dependencies
Tests user interfaces and/or web applications
Participates in test automation code reviews
Works closely with Development from Design phase to implementation into production
Collaborates with other quality and development engineers to build, evolve, and maintain a scalable continuous build and deployment pipeline
Requirements:
- Proficient in Ruby (4-5 years’ experience Other languages ( Python, Java, or C++) are a plus for this position in addition to Ruby
- Execute and write in Ruby
- Knowledge of Jenkins to build and troubleshoot automated test execution jobs
- Excellent knowledge of object oriented programming
- Experience with Linux, such as Red Hat or Ubuntu and/or Windows
- Demonstrated proficiency in creating technical documentation
- Proficient with Git or similar source control systems
- Knowledge in Cucumber test runner.
