Our client, one of the largest distributors of natural gas in the northeast US, serving customers in NY, MA, and RI seeks an accomplished Project Coordinator.

Description:
The role of the Project Coordinator Analyst (PCA) is to support the Program Management Office(PMO) Lead.
Ensuring project plans and project documentation are completed and up to date by providing regular project status updates.
Tracking the status of Program deliverables and milestones and intervene as necessary to keep the teams on track.
Supporting the adoption of the lifecycle and deliverables for assigned projects. Management of Program control processes assigned by the PMO Lead.
Coordination of the regular project and Program level reporting cycles. Coordination of project Governance arrangements. Post Project Reviews.
Coordination of Work Stream and Program level workshops.
Governance & Control: Support governance standards across the Program, including tracking, monitoring and updating the status of Program deliverables. Assist in managing the Program control processes (risks; issues and change; financial control; benefits realization Coordinating quality activities to meet quality objectives.
Planning, Reporting & Control: Help organize and coordinate logistics for team meetings and workshops. Create & maintain a repository of project templates, providing support in their usage with the Work Stream Leads and Project Managers. Continue to evolve the processes and templates throughout the project lifecycle. Assist in implementing project standards and reinforce them throughout the timeline. Support Project Managers in updating and administering the project plan as required. Manage communications from the PMO mailbox including regular reporting cycle requests. Prepare consolidated material from project reports for Program presentations. Complete and distribute reports. Supporting the definition and tracking of Program Deliverables, i.e. Business Cases and Charters(scope, goals, costs, timescales, plans, dependencies, resource requirements, budget tracking and milestones
Project management: Ensuring project plans are created & maintained, deliverables tracked against time & cost, and resource utilization is monitored. Monitoring projects against time, budget & quality standards. Support managing Program level benefits register, ensuring that all benefits are planned, monitored & benefits realization is tracked. Support implementation of quality strategy, including any processes & templates, across all Work Streams. Assist in documentation & tracking of change control process across Program. Coordination of publication, review & sign-off of deliverables. Conducting or contributing to post implementation reviews & identifying any lessons learned.

Requirements:
Education, Qualifications and Training Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP
Experience of project management and/or PMO Team. Exposure to the end to end project lifecycle, or managing substantial parts of the project lifecycle.
Experience of working within a structured project management framework. Familiar with project management tools, methodologies and processes.
Knowledge and experience of Microsoft packages, including Project, Powerpoint, Word, Excel and Visio. IBM Blueworks is preferred but not required.
Strong communications skills, both written and verbal. Understanding of the importance for detail, organization and time management.
Skill at managing stakeholder groups and balancing diplomacy and tact with assertiveness. Very good prioritization skills to balance key priorities. A strong customer centric approach.
Strong team player by being flexible and proactive. Strives to do the "right thing", not just the "easy thing". Is effective in unifying and creating teams of people with disparate skills.
Is courageous and decisive, prioritizes effectively, maintains a clear focus and sees action through to delivery. Is energetic, determined, positive, goal focused and consistent - even under pressure.
