Our client, one of the largest distributors of natural gas in the northeast US, serving customers in NY, MA, and RI seeks an accomplished Systems Analyst (Excel / VBA

Description:
Manage and develop the system to track and report on contractor performance. System is an Oracle Database accessed by SQL using Excel VBA for data collection and creating reports.
Create custom databases to track and manage key project and program information and develop custom reports to present key data on projects and portfolios.
Create and manage a central data repository to manage key data for all projects and programs and develop custom reporting.
Ability to create and automate certain reports in MS Word/Excel embedding or automating information some of the functions.
Work with the Contract Analyst to develop new KPI programs and refresh existing programs.
Create the database structure, data input interfaces and the reports using an Oracle database, SQL and Excel VBA automation.
Use exported data (from SAP and other software in Excel), create and run custom macros to filter certain data to create dashboard reports and pivot tables.
Knowledge & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree.
Expert Excel user including VBA programming.
Expert in SQL. Experience in creating database structures, user interfaces and complex reports.
Prefer experience working with SAP, Primavera P6 and/or Power Plan.
Travel – travel can be expected 6-12 times per year. Mostly trips to Melville NY.
Self-motivation. Ability to lead and participate in cross functional teams with varying goals. Good Listener.
Experience in developing complex Excel tools. The group is looking to move from these Excel based applications to Web Applications, therefore ability to develop in both environments will be a large plus.
Desired:
.NET Framework 2.0 or higher, VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET, Visual Studio.
JavaScript/VBScript.
SQL development including queries, joins, packages, and stored procedures.
Oracle 9.2 (PL/SQL Developer
HTML / CSS.
Alteryx and Tableau (preferred
