We need AML Architect for our client. We need only FTE profiles. Location is Chicago, IL . Below is the JD and this is a critical position
Technical Architect JD:
The Anti-Money Laundering (AML) IT Compliance Team is looking for an IT/Systems Architect. This role will serve as an Architect Lead on systems designs, concepts, and architectural patterns. Will translate technology and business conditions into system and AML designs and processes, and oversee the implementation of some AML technologies.
1. Has experience in multiple system environments. Should also be experienced in designing, developing, and test applications.
2. Consult on appropriate use of architecture and technologies.
3. Provide solutions architecture direction for AML KYC/CDD, SAM applications by working with vendors and NT technology teams ( i.e. enterprise architecture) to ensure technology design and delivery conforms to NT strategic architectural direction.
4. Create and maintain architectural documents, including current state, target state, and roadmap for implementation.
5. Collaborate with NT business partners and vendors to ensure alignment of new business requirements and application functionalities.
6. Collaborate with other domain architects, system design engineers, and infrastructure team on project deliverables.
7. Support project and/or product teams on functional and technical design activities.
8. Define the interaction between application packages, databases, and middleware systems to optimize product functional coverage.
v Combine multiple technologies to provide alternative physical solutions
v Performs analysis of business models, logical specifications and/or user requirements to design solutions. Responsible for the application development as well as the application environment
v Understands various types of tools and technologies on the market and their appropriate usage
v Responsibilities extend to all components of an application and application environment including front, back, and middle tiers where applicable. These individuals can lead a tool evaluation effort, including the definition of the evaluation criteria, identification of tools to be evaluated, and the actual evaluation
v Has worked on various platforms including mainframes, minis and micros
v Work may involve interacting with and managing product vendors/suppliers
v Perform as a Team Leader when required
