Role: LIMS Architect
Location: Irvine, CA
Duration: 6+ months
Must Have Skills (Top 3 technical skills only) *
1. Development and deployment experience with Lab Ware LIMS v6
2. Minimum of 5 7 years experience of Lab Ware LIMS especially in the areas of development, deployment and support in Medical device industries.
3. Familiarity with laboratory equipment (HPLC, balances, pH meters, biological and microbiological assay equipment, etc, including instrument integration with Labware LIMS and ELN
Nice to have skills (Top 2 only)
1. Understanding of 21 CFR Part 11 and ISO 13485 preferred
2. Background in Microbiology, Biology, or Chemistry is a plus.

Complete responsibility of overseeing all system architecture and solution configuration activities across all LIMS solutions. Strong understanding of various software development processes, including requirements gathering, analysis and design, development tools and technologies, release and version control, contemporary testing methodologies, and deployment management Have a firm understanding of application development and support technologies, and will have the technical background to configure

Bachelors degree in Laboratory Science Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or equivalent Computer Science
Top 3 responsibilities you would expect the Subcon to shoulder and execute*:
1. The LIMS Architect will be responsible for gathering requirements, designing, developing, and sustaining the LIMSELN technology tiers resource, enterprise, security, configuration, and integrations.
2. The LIMS Architects responsibilities will include defining and enforcing standards and best practices, providing guidance and thought leadership to functional and technical teams, technology roadmap planning, configuration management, performance optimization and monitoring.
