JOB DESCRIPTION:
As part of a strategic decision to expand delivery services beyond our existing ERP environments and teams, a new delivery organization is being created to deliver in cloud developed solutions to the various Client business units. This organization will work in an agile format alongside business analysts, enterprise architects, and solution managers. The key positions in this organization will be responsible for building front-end, back-end or full stack services as solutions to Client business units. For all solutions, these software engineers will think cloud first technologies and deliveries. Solutions will include ground-up developments of new solutions, integrations with existing technologies, portals, web services, micro services (agnostic development) and much more.
Other key responsibilities:
Design, integrate, and support cloud systems
Design, build, and implement scalable cloud-based web applications for PaaS, IaaS or SaaS.
Provide thought leadership for cloud developer technology inside Client and collaborate with cross-functional ETS teams to streamline or improve adoption Cloud technologies.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Innovation and vision. Cloud technologies represent a whole new way of doing business. The ability to innovate with hyper-flexibility, enable the business, and continuously deliver without being encumbered by system limitations. To always think: an entire business can be built on the cloud.
Business communication. The ability to articulate technical solutions to the business and provide the advantages of in cloud development is critical. Market the technical strategies ETS has committed to with Enterprise Architecture and Solution Management.
PROGRAMMING LANGUAGES:
Mandatory: Ruby or C#, Javascript, HTML/CSS, SQL,
Polyglot preferred: Go, Scala, Clojure, Ceylon, C#
Methodologies: Cloud-native, Agile, Continuous Delivery, 12-factor
Technologies: Ruby on Rails, Azure, Docker
Database: Data (SAP HANA), PostgreSQL
