Responsibilities:
Champions and facilitates the Scrum process from initiation through delivery.
Coordinating across other scrum teams for complex projects.
Guiding the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values.
Employ and advocate proper execution against SAFe
Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised open without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on problem solving.
Partnering with the Product Owner and facilitating getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.
Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
Holding people accountable for their commitments.
Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
Mentors the development team, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog, acceptance criteria and prioritization.
Mentors less experienced Scrum Masters.
Serving as Scrum Master for more than one Agile team
Exemplify the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.
Requirements
PMP-ACP preferred. First level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I); Second Level Scrum Master certification (CSP, PSM II) preferred.
Experience playing the Scrum Master role for at least 4 years for a software development team preferably in a Corporate Systems portfolio diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.
Seeking significant exposure to Corporate Systems technologies such as SAP, SFDC, Employee Central, PPM, Rally
Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
Knowledge of patterns and techniques for Scrum (example: retrospective formats, scrum of scrums, handling defects, dealing with external dependencies, etc
Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Continuous Deployment, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile/Innovation Games, etc.
Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment that is fast-paced and demanding.
Must be self-directed, have excellent initiative and organizational skills.
Ability to handle multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive and energy. Work well under stress with the ability to deliver on time.
