The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for the management and migration of traditional infrastructure to a cloud-based automated infrastructure. The cloud engineer will serve as a vital contributor to the advancement of our clients Cloud eco-system. The Cloud Engineer will be completely dedicated to Infrastructure Automation, support Hybrid Cloud Solutions, and demonstrates abilities of all Cloud-as-a-Service varieties: PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, etc. The Cloud Engineer will support full life cycle hybrid cloud automation and infrastructure application delivery, including infrastructure provisioning and integration with CI/CD platforms, using existing and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities
Provision and administer Infrastructure as a Service and Platform as a Service environments using best practices for enterprise customers across multiple public cloud offerings, e.g. Amazon, Microsoft, IBM
Architect, design, deploy, maintain and lead the implementation of Cloud solutions
Develop clear, concise installation, configuration procedures, runbooks and contributing to the maintenance of operational standards
Create automated approaches and scripts for system administration tasks where possible and appropriate
Implement security measures in all technical activities to limit unauthorized access/use
Own Continuous Delivery framework, and focus on automation
Automate the provisioning of environments with Puppet, Chef, or through Ansible, and the deployment of those environments using containers, like Docker.
Design and develop automation workflows
Evaluate & build different computing frameworks for all tiers
Implementing scalable system solutions
Present technology concepts and terminology to technical peers and customers
Deploy, test and document development, pre-production, and production environments
Backup cloud and on premise resources, including in a hybrid environment
Scripting image deployment and bootstrapping
Leverage resource tagging to allocate costs and optimize resource planning
Train and mentor Junior Administrators and Engineers

Qualifications
Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
At least 4 years of overall professional IT experience
2+ years’ experience of designing and delivering secure cloud solutions with extensive knowledge about various cloud services
AWS proficiency (ec2, s3, RDS, Route 53, Lambda, IAM, VPC, AutoScale, ELB, CloudWatch, Security groups, etc)
At least 2 years of experience in designing deployment strategies for cloud/virtualization and implementation best practices
At least 2 years of experience of designing solutions using IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
Experience migrating on-site solutions to cloud based offerings, such as Amazon’s AWS
Scripting proficiency with languages such as Python, Ruby, Bash, etc…
Linux system admin skills with basic networking
Experience in Agile Methodology and Agile Engineering practices like TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment
Experience with DevOps tools like Git, JIRA, Jenkins. Maven, Artifactory and Gradle
Experience with containerization tools like Docker (standalone docker; docker swarm; docker registry)
Experience with container orchestration: Kubernetes, AWS ECS (Ec2 Container Service)
Operates effectively in a fast-paced, deadline driven, collaborative and iterative programming environment
Strong analytical and communication skills
Self-motivated but does well in a team based environment. Strong initiative and enthusiasm.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master''s Degree in a technical discipline
Red Hat OpenShift platform experience
AWS Certification
RHEL Certification
RedHat Openstack Platform experience
