Role Description:
* Max Rate : US$ 60 – 62/hr. Tops *
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor degree in business administration or a technology-related field from an accredited institution, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
5 years’ experience in managing data lineage and performing impact analyses
5 years’ experience with ETL tool development to include 2 years’ experience with the Oracle.
6 years’ experience with Oracle 10, 11g or 12c.
5+ years of Administration and Development experience with Oracle Data Integrator.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
A strong Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) ETL (extract-transform-load) developer responsible for design, development, and delivery of data from operational systems and files into a staging area, ODSs (operational data stores), Data Warehouse, downstream Data Marts and files. He/she has the experience to design the optimal performance strategy, and manage the technical metadata across all ETL jobs, Dimensional Modeling, such as star schema, snowflake schema, creating Facts, Dimensions and Measures. Expert ability in SQL and PL/SQL. Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to a constantly changing environment. Experienced in the migration of OWB Mappings to new ODI 12c. Expert ability in ODI ETL design, documentation skills. Has a working knowledge of Knowledge Modules. Good knowledge in installing ODI11g, ODI12c and to create Master and work repositories in different RDBMS products like Oracle11g on different platforms like UNIX, Linux and windows servers. SOA Knowledge on creating ODI procedures to create and populate in target systems.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with the enterprise data architect and senior data warehouse architects to gather requirements and provide estimates and scheduling.
Develop and delivered ETL scenarios in the context of Services Oriented Architecture.
Ability to work as a team player to achieve results. Must be able to build positive working relationships with database administrators, ETL developers, and BI developers.
Responsible for the development of complex ETL processes for all projects assigned.
Design data infrastructure across all technical environments.
Participate in the design, completeness and compatibility of the technical infrastructure to support system performance, availability and architecture requirements. Document the installation, upgrade process and configurations.
Design and plan for the integration for all data warehouse technical components.
Provide input and recommendations on technical issues to the project manager.
Participate in testing of the data design, tool design, and data extracts/transforms.
Keep the Enterprise Data Architect and the Senior Director of Infrastructure informed about incidents about which they should be aware.
