JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities for multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Applicants for this job posting will be considered for the Project Manager position on the Flight Attendant Tablet team and other initiatives within Operations Technology.
5+ years of experience managing large IT software development projects using structured PM and System Development methodologies/practices with project planning tools
Thorough knowledge of IT project life cycles, particularly SDLC
Agile development methodology
Broad experience in a variety of computing platforms (mobile, client/server, etc
Certification in Project Management by a recognized project management organization (such as the Project Management Institute)
Strong experience gathering and documenting complex system requirements, technical specifications, and developing detailed system diagrams
Experience managing project financials is strongly preferred
Experience and a full understanding of failover/failback, disaster recovery and mirroring concepts is preferred
Experience delivering mission-critical applications in a high-availability environment is preferred
Experience delivering in-house and commercial off-the-shelf applications is preferred
Broad understanding of crew operations or flight operations processes is preferred
PMP certification is a plus
Some travel domestically and internationally may be required
PREFERRED TECHNOLOGY:
Proficiency in MS Suite (Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Access)
