Description: The Business Analyst/Consultant Senior serves as the communication bridge between non-technical business users and technical solution developers. The Business Analyst/Consultant has a depth of knowledge in business analysis processes including knowledge of facilitation, methodology, tools, and techniques. The Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing the raw data gathered by the project team, applying the appropriate tools and techniques to create meaningful results. This individual is an active participant in aspects of department assessment, visioning, and reengineering. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks, such as identify and document business requirements. May lead and direct the work of others. May report directly to a project lead or manager. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

J. Experience Required
The Business Analyst/Consultant Senior must have the following experience, skills and expertise:
l. Bachelor’s degree in area of specialty and 8 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
m. Documented experience in facilitating requirements gathering sessions for systems implementations.
n. Documented experience in performing requirements gathering sessions for systems implementations.
o. Documented experience creating technical roadmaps to develop and implement a complex system rewrite in a phased approach.
p. 5 years’ experience in verbal and written communication with clients and technical staff in English.
K. Experience Preferred
The Business Analyst/Consultant Senior must have the following experience, skills and expertise:
q. Experience working with TFS or similar source control product
r. Documented experience in the development of Test Cases
s. Experience implementing and documenting Enterprise Document Management Solutions
t. Documented experience working on enterprise solutions utilizing CRM or ERP solutions
u. Experience in Agile and Iterative development
L. Education Required
Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences
M. Education Preferred

P. Description of the requested work, including deliverables and knowledge transfer
The scope-of–work is to serve as Business Analyst/Consultant for the MDOC OMS projects in particular; the scope-of-work includes the following:
a. Track and Trace deliverables, route for review as needed and tabulate feedback
b. Connect data mapping pieces to produce end to end conversion schematic
c. Facilitate requirements meetings
d. Provide methodologies and tracking for Test Cases
e. Post documents to SharePoint
f. Conduct research to identify detailed requirements pertaining to interfaces and other key aspects of the project.
g. Assist in the creation of presentation materials
h. Other duties as required
