Our client, one of the largest distributors of natural gas in the northeast US, serving customers in NY, MA, and RI seeks an accomplished Process Improvement Analyst.

Description:
The candidate will be expected to support strategic and support activities within Client to drive value and performance.
This role involves working with the management team to support the development and implementation of Client’s Performance Excellence (PEx) Strategy.
The candidate will personally help to support PEx teams and ensure that the new ways of working are established and retained within Client.
The successful candidate will support all end to end Business Process and Performance behavioral analytics as well as support the overall Performance Excellence Strategy.
This role is also responsible for assessing project benefits and identifying opportunities to improve the customer experience.
The candidate will be required to use all available tools and resources to thoroughly analyze and assess operational performance and customer behavior.
The candidate facilitates the analysis, design, and implementation of process improvements, as well as acts as a liaison with all levels of management and staff during the process improvement lifecycle.
Assist with the identification of process improvement opportunities. Quantify financial opportunities and benefits offered by process improvement projects.
Provide process focused analytics support to business process and performance teams.
Analyze all aspects of the operations experience, including but not limited to, customer experience, key contact drivers and performance.
Ensure all analysis supports appropriate operations investment decisions and optimizes operational expenses.
Conduct extensive analysis of performance trends and provide insightful business performance reporting.
Adhere to all analytic standards and support all process and performance strategies. Conduct ad-hoc analysis when required. Report impact of process improvement efforts.
Perform effective change management to ensure long term sustainability of changes. Work and contribute in a collaborative team environment. Drive independently toward key objectives.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the skills and experience necessary to analyze and improve processes using Lean methodology.
This role also involves strong project management and project leadership skills.
Requires a BA or BS degree or higher in an engineering, finance, business, computer science or technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
Must have the capability for planning, organizing, directing and tracing technical efforts or assigned tasks.
Should be capable of tracking cost and schedule status of assigned tasks.
Ability to take direction from and discuss decisions with supervisor, and to coordinate with peers on projects.
Must have demonstrated success with a team approach to the consulting business.
2+ years of analytics experience gained in school or professional career.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point.
