Responsibilities
Develop / enhance /review applications and code in accordance to SDLC methodology, industry best practices, and departmental policies and standardsalyze business and functional requirements in collaboration with the Application Architect and functional leads and document technical solutions Develop, test and debug integration components in accordance with business and architectural requirements.
Contribute to the resolution of defects. Provide support to testing teams. Must be self-managed, responsive, and dedicated to exceptional customer support Present designs and code at walk-throughs Initiate and conduct unit testing of integration solutions and support system and performance testing as required Provide analytical and problem solving skills to help support the development process and to ensure that the project deliverables are met according to specifications.
Provide timely updates on tasks and meet internal and client deadlines with high quality deliverables. Report Status''s and Risks to respective team leader and project manager.
Skills and Requirements
5+ years of hands-on experience in Java environment (Java, J2EE, Spring, Eclipse, Tomcat etc)
3+ years of experience designing, developing web services and SOA. Strong background in Java / J2EE / XML / SOA technologies.
Web Services development experience using XML, XSD, SOAP and WS Specification.
Knowledge of healthcare processing, HL7 formatting and Rhapsody development tool a plus.
Proficient in SQL, Javascript, jQuery, JSF and other web development. Strong background in REST/JSON.
Strong knowledge of relational database design concepts. Strong database design skills,
Experience with SQL programming in Oracle 11g/10g.
Thorough technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design and implementation Experience in carrying out the requirements,
design, development, testing implementation and support phases of applications software project Extensive experience in object oriented programming and implementing design patterns.
Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related degree program and 5+ years of technical experience
