Job Description:
We are looking to bring on some temporary help (12 to 18 months) to help implement our Web CMS project. I have attached the job descriptions, but wanted to give a little more info on the project. I wanted to see if you have any candidates that may match what we are looking for. We want to try to have resources in place in November of this year.
We are converting all of the websites for each of our publications to Drupal from our current web CMS. The business analysts would be responsible for working with our brands to take an inventory of each of our publications websites, document the technical and business requirements and help through the testing and QA process.

Attributes for BA
Drupal experience would be preferred
Strong documentation and communication skills
Website development and experience in agile is preferred
Media experience would be helpful

Responsibilities:
The role of the Business Analyst is to ensure the operational efficacy and excellence of an organization.
The business analyst designs and documents work flow, manages and provides solutions to new business unit ideas, trends, and concepts appropriately through the latest technological paths.
The business analyst understands the customer’s business requirements and business process management, and then translates them to particular software requirements.

Job Functions
Collect and analyze business requirements and transferring the same knowledge to development team.
Evaluate the data collected through task analysis, business process, surveys and workshops.
Prepare accurate and detailed requirement specifications documents, user interface guides, and functional specification documents.
Provide suggestions to the development team during the development stage of product to meet the client’s business needs.
Communicate effectively with external clients and internal teams to deliver product’s functional requirements like screen, interface, and GUI designs.
Document the acquired results of analysis and workflows as well as obtaining sign-off from the appropriate client.
Design and execute test scripts and test scenarios.
Coordinate the business unit who test, validate, evaluate new applications and functions, and determine issues in services and software.
Define and document Strong process and workflow experience across many functional and technical areas.
Some travel may be required.

Education & Experience
BS or BA degree in computer science, publishing, business administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum three to five years business analysis experience.
Experience with agile/scrum techniques.
Experience in multiple industries.
Publishing/Media industry experience preferred.
BA certification preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Business Prerequisites
Experience in Publishing, Marketing or Online Strategy is preferred.
Experience with Content Management and Drupal is preferred.
Experience with Website Development is preferred.
Very strong writing skills.
Very strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
Strong time management skills.
